Sha-Nita Davies - Executive Director
Sha-Nita Davies is utilizing her Masters Degree as an English Teacher for the SDB and has been for the last 9 years and is the advisor for the Minority Excellence Organization (MEO). Sha-Nita was Miss Beloit in 2007 and Miss Racine in 2009. She went on to be first runner up to Miss Wisconsin in 2009. Sha-Nita is currently the Executive Director of Miss Beloit, Miss South Central, and Miss Rock River Valley Competitions. She is proud that her competitions have produced a Top 5 finalist since she became a director in 2018 and there have been three Miss Wisconsins crowned within the last five years. She is a member of the Alpha Alpha Delta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc in Beloit. She is also a member of New Zion Baptist Church where she sings on the praise and worship team. Sha-Nita is the President of South Central Competitions, Inc., the non-profit organization that the pageants are under. South Central Competitions, Inc. provides scholarship/awards to not only participants of the pageant but also to Beloit Community Members. In her spare time, she enjoys reading Julia Quinn novels (the author of Bridgerton Series), creating personalized items (logos, program books, bookmarks, t-shirts) on Canva, and spending time with her Husband & daughters.
Terri Gile - Teen Director
Terri Gile is a life-long Beloiter and has been involved in the Miss America Opportunity since her identical twin daughters served as Miss Beloit 2010 and Miss Beloit 2012. Since then, she’s volunteered on the local board and is now the Miss Beloit’s Teen Director. She also serves as the secretary of South Central Competitions, Inc. Terri and her high school sweetheart, Dave, have been married for over 40 years. They have raised 4 children and are blessed to have 5 beautiful grandchildren. Terri retired after 34 years as an elementary teacher and 5 years as an instructional coach for SDB. She is currently teaching part time at Beloit College and supervising student teachers. Terri has been a long-time Girl Scout leader and a Destination Imagination team manager. She also volunteers her time playing her clarinet in her church and helping to coordinate meals for the homeless families in the Family Promise program. In her free time, Terri loves to travel and is an avid geocacher. She and her oldest son have found over 1300 geocaches around the world.
